Organization Structure and Philosophy
Sequel Hotels and Resorts is a flat organization who de-bunks the hierarchy myth.
We are organic, and believe in contribution of ideas and solutions by all team members. We do not believe in getting bogged down in over managing, over supervising, and over monitoring. We manage by creating a vision, creating enthusiasm for an idea - whether it is ours or someone else’s - and then trying to push, spread and disburse it through the entire company.
The Senior Executives are not at the top of the tree, they are in the middle of the globe. There are no strict lines of command. The only boundaries are those between the core layer, inner layer, and outer layer and are blurred. Sequel’s layer and the Hotel's and Resorts' layer revolve around each other. They are inter-dependant, each influencing the other.
